| BATTERY CREEK COTTAGE Where creeks converge and marsh grasses sway in gentle breezes, the Battery Creek Cottage is a classical low country home. Steep rooflines, high ceilings, front and back porches plus long and low windows are typical details of these charming planters’ cottages. Spanish moss, alligators and horse flies go with the local scenery too. However, this pleasant and cozy home illustrates a way of life that crosses regional boundaries and looks great anywhere. We just can’t export the ‘gators. |
